Well I have been messaging music artists on Facebook asking this

"Hello, I am a Youtube Creator, and I was wondering if you could give me written permission from you to use your songs in my videos, I am required to ask because my videos are claimed by a network for monetization, I will always link your Facebook, twitter, website, sound cloud, youtube, ect. in the description. Thanks so much if you allow me, If not I understand!"

My question to you guys is. Do you think this is a suitable message/written permission (If they reply yes) to use their music, and if I do get a copyright strike, or ID, or 3rd party will the be accepted as written permission?

Why do you use Facebook to send them a message? Send a message to their official email address and ask them there.

The message itself is also not that great, here is one I would use:
Hello,

My name is [Put your name here] and I have a Youtube channel(link), I would like to use your music for my videos, but I need permission to do so.

Can I have your permission to use your music in my videos?

Thanks for your time,
[Put your name here]

Only use emails as you can save them and even send them to YouTube so they have more proof than you copy and pasting the message lol

Yeah, defiantely use email as you will need proof if anything happens. If they can write a statement saying I allow (YT Channel) to use my music, then it should keep you in the clear
