Question about 2nd youtube channel

Hi guys, so i saw that you can make a second channel under the same account, but one thing im curious about is, does it sync the "time" i have on the 1st channel, so for example i had the first channel for lets say 6 months, does that mean the 2nd channel will have only 6 months to complete the "monetize" requirements or it starts from 0?

Each channel is independent. :)
