Purchasing Le' New Microphone

I bought it because of tests and it's look, it't not a must have, the Yeti and AT2020 are allot better, but the Snowball was in my price budget and had good quality. I agree that it is way overrated.
I know a few people that bought it because "it looks cool". But compared to the Yeti, ATR25000 and the 2020 it doesn't stand a chance to current USB microphones.

I was thinking once I save up about 70-80 euro I'll sell the snowball to get the AT-2020, it's a pain to use with some stands since it doesn't rotate far enough, none the less it was the first Studio Quality USB mic, and it's still pretty decent, but it's starting to fade a bit.

I've heard that after a few months of use the quality starts to "stiffen". Kind of like it loses it's sensitivity and becomes dull.. I would recommend the 2020, if I could afford the extra dosh I would buy it too, but the 2500 seems to be like a suitable microphone for now, and for a few years to come before I see the true need to upgrade. :)

That Quality issue hasn't happened to me and I've had it about 7 months now, when I get the money, I'll probably go Full Analog Studio Quality, I used to use a mixing desk and a Shure SM-48, but I was borrowing them and had to give them back, but boy the Quality out of it. :D

I've heard that the quality from those mics are a 'shure' winner ;) aw haw.. I hope to one day go full analog so I can also start recording my music etc. Turn my room into a home studio kinda setup, you know. (:

That's a really great microphone for all kinds of things, from gaming to vlogs and like you wan't to do make music. Great choice :)
