Promotion advice

is it a bad idea to promote my channel on other people’s videos? I see a bunch of people do this and when I do I usually click on the channel to check it out. I know not everyone clicks on the channel but if I do I’m sure others do as well. Should I use his tactic too? Or is it bad. How else should I promote?

Not in position to advice, I can only tell my opinion,
if a plain channel promo comment appers in a video? Get deleted.
If persists? Get reported.
If I found it in other peoples videos? (spammer), downvoted.

(eh, seems like I am the bad... hahaha! )

Seriusly, what "others do" is not our business (or responsibility...)

Personally I find this really annoying. I wouldn’t want other people coming to my videos and posting something like, “if you liked this video, you’ll also like mine (link)” in the comment section. Hence, I wouldn’t do it to others either. That’s just my point of view though.

Do not promote your channel on other people's videos. Not only will you annoy people in the comments, you will annoy the creator of that channel and you will probably be blocked.
