So I'm starting my gaming channel out and am going to make my first video. Well I made it already, but I'm not sure I want to make it my first video. I personally dislike profanity. But the people seem to love it. A lot of the bigger gamers curse, and include profanity. Should I?

Don't make yourself swear. It'll come out forced. Just talk as you normally would.
Why should you do something that you don't like just because viewers like it? You do what you like and enjoy and it will come across as more real and have a better result than you trying to be fake. I tend not to use any in my videos because I have a younger audience. So I find it better to be more family friendly vs. a niche audience.
I guess I'm taking this to seriously. In all threads I've made about gaming, I realize the best thing to do is just be myself. Thanks guysIf you don't swear normally, don't bother. It'll make you come across as a massive tool. Swearing's okay as long as it's natural, but if you want examples of bad swearing look at 13 year old gamer videos with 'you motherfucking faggot I'm gonna kick your f*****g a** you f**k f**k!' Just sounds silly, you know?![]()
