Profanity in Gaming

Is profanity swearing?
Personally I don't mind it. I swear a bit myself, but I don't swear just to swear, if you get what I mean.

Also, I watch a lot of gaming channels that don't curse, and they're still entertaining :p

If you don't swear normally, don't bother. It'll make you come across as a massive tool. Swearing's okay as long as it's natural, but if you want examples of bad swearing look at 13 year old gamer videos with 'you motherfucking faggot I'm gonna kick your f*****g a** you f**k f**k!' Just sounds silly, you know? :giggle:
 
Why should you do something that you don't like just because viewers like it? You do what you like and enjoy and it will come across as more real and have a better result than you trying to be fake. I tend not to use any in my videos because I have a younger audience. So I find it better to be more family friendly vs. a niche audience.

I guess I'm taking this to seriously. In all threads I've made about gaming, I realize the best thing to do is just be myself. Thanks guys :)
 
I personally don't sit through a video that starts to swear.
Just not my cup of tea.

While recording scary games I HAVE let one slip every once and a while, but it was while live streaming.
Wasn't so bad, I didn't keep the file though.
