Procrastination or Hesitation w/ Scripts

So, I've been wanting to start up a gaming channel for awhile now. I've honestly gotten the gear with it, a 2 PC setup with a capture card, a decent mic, just finished my intro. However, the problem is that I always come up with ideas, but never can seem to form them into a script. To put the scope of my videos into sight, they would be more of a commentary, discussion and/or opinion based video.

Script writing seems to be my major downfall, as I always make a script, and find myself rambling off of it, pausing to read it or having to start recording again because I mess up. I feel like I start procrastinating because this becomes too hard for me to focus on, while the other stuff is really easy to do, editing, capturing, etc. Is there any formats that anyone can pass along that would be of help?

Why are you writing a script? If you mess up, try it again. Failure never hurt anyone, we just learn. It honestly sounds like the script is cramping your style. It might be a great idea to have bullet points so you remember what to talk about, or if you need yourself to talk about. Keep it (5-10 bullet points) just keep it short and sweet with your notes, and than see if that helps. Most of ALL have fun! <3
