Problems with uploading my banner?

Hello guys, I just made a new banner for my channel to fit the new 2560x1440 dimensions, but when I upload it, it appears to be pixelated and low quality. When I look at the file on my computer it looks like it should, HD, but there is some miscommunication when I upload the file. It is also under to 2 MB limit, so I have ruled that possibility out. I have experience using photoshop and have made plenty of banners and backgrounds for myself before, so I'm not sure what could be causing it. Have any of you had a similar problem?

Try it as a different file like a wav or somtin

.wav is audio. She can try using .jpg or .png but .png is a more crisp image. And the .png is not working.

Yeah it is, I tried reverting it back to one of my older ones but they also look low res.
