Problem with video resizing when linking video to own web page

I am trying to use videos from my YouTube channel and copying the URL to use on my portfolio page on a Square Space template. For some reason some of the videos are embedding into the site as they should at the right size, 640 x 360 yet other videos are embedding as 1280 x 720.

All video have been up loaded onto YouTube as 1280 x 720. I have tried to fix it under channel settings in my account in the video playback options but this has not helped. Can anyone help me out with this? What am I doing wrong in You Tube that is changing the video size upon inbed? Thanks for your help.
 
If you go to your video on YouTube you can click share, go to embed and pick what size you want to use. If you don't pick a size then it will default pick for you.
 
It's also worthwhile to check if there's any overriding CSS on the iframe element. While you may pass in a width and height, that can be overwritten on the site via CSS !important directives, or with JavaScript.
