Problem with video quality

I'm having a problem with my video quality. I do beauty videos on yt and I need for my viewers to be able to see what I'm doing clearly. I have a canon t3i it's a new camera so I'm still learning how to use it. I notice when I film and edit my videos the quality seems fine but as I'm uploading and go back to watch the video the quality seems to be a little lower. I'm not sure if it's something I should fix within the settings or maybe it's yt which I don't think it is. I have watch videos from people who have the same camera as I do and to me the quality doesn't seem the same. Is there anything I could do to fix this?. Btw I use fcpx to edit if that's any useful information

Usually Youtube takes a second to process if you are viewing it right after you upload it doesn't always upload every quality at the start. I upload in 720p but if I look at the video right after uploading it will show 360 or 480p. Just give it a second, the quality should be up within 15 minutes.

Youtube always uploads in low quality for a few hours before sharpening it up. Does your video have access to being in HD?
All my animations we're HD but YouTube wouldn't upload them this way, but then I realised to get it in HD I needed to up the size of the exported file and that worked for me, now my uploads are given the HD option from YouTube.

That's all I can add to this I'm afraid, as I don't use a video camera at all.
~ Hope you get it sorted soon though!

2 things to watch in FCPX -

1) if you edit in proxy mode don't forget to switch back before you share

2) your sharing option matters a lot. If you use the share to YouTube option, then it should look pretty good. Are you using anything else?

If that doesn't help and you don't think its youtube's processing like the others said post a link to a video so we can see whats up.

Proxy mode is a way to convert video files to lightweight versions that speed up FCPX. You'd have to turn it on though, so probably you aren't using it.

How are you sharing your project? What setting do you use?
