Possible: Copyright Claim AFTER I set my video to private?

I'm wondering, lets say I have a video that I set to private. Once that video is set to private, can someone do a copyright claim against that video? Or is it impossible at that point?

EDIT: Just to get the point across, I'm wondering if someone can start a new copyright claim against a video that is already set to private.

Content ID scans all videos - public, unlisted even private. Google your question and you'll find lot of threads about this.

Absolutely they can. If it exists on YouTube, even if nobody can see it, it is open to copyright claims and strikes.
