Popping in Gaming Headset? (Plantronics Game Con 780...)

So I've been using a desk mounted mic for the past six-seven months I've been on youtube. Recently, though, I got a the Plantronics Game Con 780 Surround Sound yada yada yada for casual play. The mic ended up being better quality than the usual mic I used, so I started using it.
Weird thing is, whenever I'm editing my videos, and I pause or play, there's a bit of popping. Even when I watch my videos back on Youtube, there's a bit of popping. And I don't mean like I'm pronouncing my P's a bit too much; it sounds like the headphones click on and off or something. it's weird..
Thing is, it happens on no one elses videos. I am new to headsets, and used to use cheap earbuds, so this is a bit of a strange thing for me. I don't think other people are hearing it, but is there any way to stop it, or does anyone know what could have caused it? Thank ya!

Try listening to your videos on another device; either another computer or a phone. It could be the speakers on your computer or your ear buds going bad, especially if it happened all of a sudden.

The thing is, I'll watch other videos, and it doesn't happen, not one bit! :C & I don't believe it's on the actual audio file, because no one has complained about it- and a few of my YT friends said they didn't hear anything like it.

This can happen depending what software/hardware you're using to record, what you're using to edit and what you're using for rendering. I have the same issues with my blue yeti mic. It records in 44kHz and when I use final cut pro x it natively uses 48kHz so when I render the video there is an incredibly annoying popping sound. I fixed it by putting my audio files (before editing) into iTunes and converting them to AIFF files. *Voila* no mas popping. Hope this helps to some degree :)

I'll definitely try that out, it makes sense. Thank you very much. ^^
