I myself am one who can get a little thing I like to call 'Creator Block', I can be in a real good mood, ready to make a video and then I realise - NO IDEAS!

How do you come up with your video ideas or topics? Everyone must have different unique ways which help them personally so lets share them together because we may be able to help each other think of ways to think of ideas!

I myself spend a whole day thinking. I use my phone notes or a note pad that I can write on so I never forget an idea. I go through my day doing what I normally do - looking at everything I do, other people do, listen to conversations and paying a lot more attention to conversations I'm saying. You would be surprised at some of the wackiest ideas I've had from the weirdest things.

I may be talking to a friend and they say 'carrots' and all of a sudden this great video idea will pop into my mind. Or I could be at the cinema and see a funny scene and I'm like 'OMG new idea'. And they all get written down!

I usually end up with a page or two of ideas - a lot of which actually don't get used! I even save them all - I have old ideas form a year ago that still inspire me now!

My ideas tend to just pop in my head randomly, then once I have a basic idea I try to think about if would work in video and how it can be improved :D

My ideas comes from everywhere. Movies, Games, YouTube, even just riding in the car and observing other people get on with their daily lives.

Social observation. Always had different thoughts pop into my head at funny times from things I encounter everyday, so I just convert those thoughts into videos. Fun times.

My ideas come up at random times and sometimes in the shower. LOL. Watching other YouTubers can spark ideas as well, but not to completely copy them.

Usually, I'm thinking about something random, and then realise it would make a good topic for a video, so I write it down.

Sometimes i jump up on the bus and shout EURIKA!! and note it down on the little notepad i carry around with me
