I made my channel a couple of days ago I have been told by people to monetise my videos and channel to get thumbnails I have but is there anything bad that can happen ?.

Enable monetization but dont claim your videos and you will be fine

I would enable monetization on your channel, but not monetize your videos. That's what I do on my gaming channel and it works just fine. The reason why you don't want to monetize your gaming videos is most games do not allow that unless you have licensess or permission.

yes you can earn money but ppl are gona get p****d bcuz of the ads and if you let the videos with out ads untill you grow a bit then you will gain more subs and views, and bad ... well you could get clickbomed ...

It's a possibility, but it most likely will not happen. You will most likely get content claims on the videos. Which you don't want!
