So I uploaded a video called the "Dislike Test", where I told everyone to dislike my video for the heck of it. Will this have any negative effect on my channel?

I don't think it will, as far as I know likes and dislikes are counted as the same (engagement with the video) that will actually still help increase its ranking.

Dislikes don't hurt your channel as YouTube considers it Audience interaction. You should be fine as long as they are real dislikes and not a pot you're ok.

If people watch for a few seconds, dislike your video and leave, yes, it could harm your channel. YouTube could take that as an indication that you are using thumbnails that don't relate to the video
