Please help, any advice is welcome

Hi, I've been creating content for a while but I'm not seeming to get anywhere. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I don't know if it's my content, thumbnails or even the look of my channel. I do occasionally post my videos on twitter and thumbnails on Instagram. I took a big break from creating content, but have come back and this time I want to make sure I know what I'm doing. I've even deleted a lot of my old content that had bad audio and video quality. Any advice would be much appreciated :help::)

I think what you need to find is your click, and what I mean by that is try to find other gaming Youtubers of similar size and just become friends with them, in turn they may follow you and watch your vids and collaborate with you. Not only that but it builds a community slowly. Also, try experimenting with an original series something you don't see a lot of that brings in viewer attention. Maybe do like a playthrough of an unpopular game or a showcase of some kind. I know this works from experience, I remember I found a PC fangame of pikmin and I did a showcase of it and the video ended up getting 1000+ views because it was posted on reddit. That's all I got for ya, I really enjoyed your channel and thought the content was great also, sick intro. Hope this helped a little!

@TeraVex Thanks for the help and ideas. I've got a couple of random games lying around that I could probably use as a some what original series, so thanks for the suggestion I'll definitely look into it and find something both original and that I'd enjoy playing and making into a series. Making friends with other Youtubers may be hard for me as I'm generally quite shy, and living in New Zealand probably doesn't help either haha, but I'll do my best to get out there. So thanks for all the help and suggestions and I wish you luck with your channel as well :thumbsup2:
:)

I would suggest more advertising, post on all social media every time when you upload and although it may seem annoying follow as many people as you can to get your videos as many views and as much exposure as possible.

You definitely need to change your banner to match your thumbnail, remember to never squish or change the aspect ratio of elements in your photo editor, it shouts unprofessionalism. I suggest using the same font across your whole channel. I looked at your most recent video and the intro is really cool, really liked it, however the music kinda just fades out and then the video starts, what I would recommend doing is instead of fading out the music, instead lower the volume so it becomes the background music of the first 10 seconds of the video, then slowly fade it out behind the talking. Also consider a better mic but tbh your mic quality isn't THAT bad, just a thing to consider down the road, personally I use a Blue Yeti mounted on a $13 boom arm I got off amazon and like a $10 pop filter, works great. As @TeraVex said though, you definitely need to find your niche cause playing big name games like Battlefield and stuff will make it SUPER hard to grow cause people already have their favourite big battlefield youtubers that they want to watch. So you gotta find a way to spice it up

I honestly would check out other people releasing the same content as yours with good numbers(big youtubers). Then try to replicate it since if they are getting views, they pretty much have the format down that people like to watch. Keep an eye on pacing and see what makes their videos enjoyable. checked out your hotline miami video and you kind of slowed the game down a bit imo. The game is supposed to be fast paced.

@Olroy Thanks for the advice, the intro is something I'll definitely look at when I edit my next batch of videos and I'll start playing around with different banners aswell. I do have a decent mike but I still haven't really got use to it and the room I have to record is pretty open which doesn't help. thanks[DOUBLEPOST=1484022567,1484022134][/DOUBLEPOST]@ggdeeofficial I will start looking at other content creators and see what they do, as I do need to start viewing more people instead of just the 4 I view now. With the hotline Miami videos I do start speeding up a little in each video as I get more use to the game, as it's my first time playing number 2 and haven't play the first one in well over a year. Thanks for the advice
