Hi Guys,
As is the title ,i am planing to make walkthrough for games when it's come out (the new ones),and as i heard after a lot of research there's some companies that have no problem if you made a walkthrough for their games like Ubisoft and EA is that true ,and what about the Fight Games like Dragon Ball And Naruto can i make videos for Duels ? please give me a hand as i am so confused thanks in advance.
 
I'm not sure but I think you can do dragonball and Naruto. I've already seen gameplay on YouTube. So if you want to be safe I'd ask permission
 
In Ubisoft Policy they're clearly mention that they have no problem with monetize their games ,What about the other fight games ,and for Dragon Ball Xenoverse is it okay to make Fight Gameplay for it with the sound and SFX.
 
Should be good. I believe Nintendo is the only company that is picky about that? I may be wrong but that's what I'm guessing.

Oh really ,is that the case i will start uploading video of dragon ball Xenoverse right now haha ,should i mute the SFX and the music or is it okay to keep them ,and i don't do any commentary is that gonna be a problem ?
 
If you mute the SFX and the music AND you don't do commentary then your video will be silent :confused: I've read that it's a good idea to mute the music.
 
You might get a third party message with the music. I don't know for sure. I don't know what kind of music the game has but it's probably more safe than sorry if you turn it off. SFX should be good unless it's like a radio SFX that's playing a song.
 
Another thing i've made a video to show how to fix the save game problem0 ,but the problem everytime i refresh the page the views increase i am really confused and after i reached 301+ the views get frozen ,then the views start over from the beginning and the same first problem happened again the views increase with every refresh, can anyone explain this to me..[DOUBLEPOST=1426259013,1426258860][/DOUBLEPOST]

thanks my friend for the quick replay ,i will turn the music for sure to avoid any problem ,for the SFX no song playing just the sound of characters plus the impact and fight sounds of course.
 
There are wikki pages with lists of YouTube friendly developers you can search up. They're a good start.

From there you will have to read through the permissions of any developer whose game you want to use. Everyone is different.

I believe EA has a loose "we don't mind" stance, but they don't outright say that it's ok.
