Request pimp my banner - help

hey everybody

i always wonder: should i post this in this forum or into the channel design?

anyways..i just made my banner as you can see on my channel
but it isn't that catchy yet
can someone help me and add an effect, lights or anything? im not the graphic pro^^

Hey there, i am not a pro neither but i can give u some effects.. i use gimp you can see my banner if u wish i can do such simple effects and i don't think black background will do good with 67 % of the effects but it looks classy at least let me know if you want help anyway.

i know.. black isn't the best..but i didn't know what tho choose..

haha i am glad i can help ^+^ ya go on send it you can just uploaded here and i might be able to download it also i will make like 4 or 7 versions just so you can pick the one you like the most and note thati am sort of noob at edditing myself the only good thing i made was a background for the old yt layote.. i only used it for few days then they changed it .. so much work went into that one.. here u can see it : ._.
