Personal channel not able to monetise??

ok so ive had a personal youtube account for over 7 years now, and gained a lot of views of these years, no i understand monetizing my videos wont backdate me money or anything, but i just wanted to be able to monetize my new additions to the site.,... but for some reason i cant when i select monetize it says not avail in my country...even tho my other youtube page is monetized?? this doesnt make sense.. can anyone shed some light on the subject
 
Huh, I can't say. It looks like there's nothing wrong with your channel, other than only having 9 views. Did you try to activate monetization, but it just didn't work? If you try this, you'll have to look up your ID number thingy on your adsense page. How do you know you cannot monetize?

Setting up the second channel on the same adsense is always the harder thing to do.
 
sorry dude you miss understood, this is my new channel, totally fresh and new completely seperate to my old personal one, my old personaly one im having trouble monetizing is under the name madgaz182
 
How did you try to monetize? Did you go to youtube dot com / partners (I think)? Did it ask for your adsense ID? What happened?
 
When I click on monetize it just said not available in your country[DOUBLEPOST=1366492282,1366492240][/DOUBLEPOST]Also don't have an Adsense account for either channel but one can be monetized and the other cant

Maybe check your registration of country? I think there's an option for that at the bottom of your YouTube page. If you can't figure that out, you may just have to join a network, assuming adsense will not work for you.

Adsense is google's monetization system. Unless your other channel is with a network, say Fullscreen or RPM, you have adsense. You can log into the google account (YouTube channel) with that monetization, then go to adsense dot google dot com, and you should be able to see your adsense report. If you don't have one at all, and you're not with a network, then you aren't actually making any money. Sorry. :P
 
Well when I set up my new channel moronictelevision , I never set up and Adsense account I just clicked monetize and it was activated within the day , not sure if the automatically create one for you or not ... And my older channel is set to United Kingdom same as my new channel but still says monetize not avail in country

It would have created an adsense for you. If you can put ads on your videos, it should exist. Like I said, log into that channel and put in the url I said. See what that does. If not, maybe it doesn't exist yet, but it's tracking your earnings. I haven't added a channel to adsense in almost a year, it's likely changed somewhat. Just try what I suggested and see what that does.
 
For some reason my personal channel was set to Afghanistan country of origin ??? Wtf , as soon as I clicked uk , bam I got all the option , monetize , thumbnails banners the works wooooo
