People upload silent videos, WHY?

I noticed that some people upload silent videos. I even saw a silent tutorial.

I mean even worse is when you can hear the person typing.

Here is a message to those people. YouTube is about breaking new fears everyday. Get used to it!

People will loose interest really quickly to silent videos. And believe it or not, more people will take the p**s if you do not speak. So what is the point in wasting your time and your viewers time to type the script in a 10 minute video which you could of done in 5.

Seriously who is gonna want to take the p**s out of your voice. Anyone who is watching your video wants to hear music or a commentary voice at least!

I am sorry but if you do silent videos, you will not get very far. Please! It is not like some one is going to kill you because you spoke on YouTube. It is not a crime and if these people take the p**s just remove their comments. But seriously come on!
 
Well it depends. If someone is doing a Lets Play, I prefer them not to talk because I want to focus solely on the game and what the characters are saying otherwise the persons voice will not let me hear it properly. However, if it's a tutorial then there should be commentary or at least annotations to tell me what I'm doing. The only case where you shouldn't talk is if you have the WORST mic in the world
 
Well it depends which lets play it is. If it is for example a MW3 walkthrough then yes I would like them to shut up but if it is a Happy Wheels or Minecraft lets play I like to hear their rages and even their face reactions. Happy Wheels + No Sound/Music/Voice = Rubbish
