PC Upgrades

Hey guys, ezmac here. Over this holiday season i was thing about getting upgrades for my computer. as of now i have an amd a10-6800k. I am planning on getting either the new amd r7 260x or r9 270, but i was wondering if my cpu would be a bottleneck for that. also i have 8gb of ram @1833mhz and my cpu oc'd @4.8ghz
 
I don't think it would be a bottleneck, but you'd be better off buying an Intel CPU, they are still better. Both those AMD cards are great though.

I would buy that but i already have the a10 cpu. if i changed to intel i would need to get a new mobo and cpu
 
Well the next best AMD processor is a AM3+ so you'll have to upgrade you're mobo no matter what, if it does turn out to be a bottleneck.

I know that i am just trying to see if the processor i have will be able to handle the card without a bottleneck.
 
There won't be a bottleneck, you'll start to see a bottleneck when you throw a higher class card like r9 series or GTX 760 or above at it, also I recommend you save up a bit more to buy an FX 6300 or 8350.

That is one one my next planned upgrades:)
