Partnership for a header image?

I've Got It
This guy that im getting to design my background is giving me a hard time i want a header/banner type thing on my background which will have Project spartan and a picture of a spartan in the banner/header?

He is telling me that i need a partnership to have a header image..... like it just makes no sense to me? Its my wall i can do what i want on it so what if you i don't have a youtube partner?

You gotta be partnered with a network, not YOuTUbe & Adsense, A network. Post about 15 videos and if you make quality content and get good views partner with socialblade or RPM.
