Me and Kel are just wondering about partnerships. With my gaming channel I partnered at around 1000 subs but not pretty much everyone is partnered haha. Are we better of getting partnered now or later?

If you are talking about partnering with youtube, anyone can partner with youtube now simply by monetizing a video. You don't really have to wait to do that although you won't really be making any money.

If you are referring to networks, it would be better to stick with Adsense for your vlog channel.
 
I think it is a good idea to partner with a network as it will be a reliable income source which can go to making even more exciting videos.
 
It depends on what your direction is heading! If you want to be safe, check out the network's benefit page and you'll find what they offer you! It's not a big harm too joining one! :) All the best!
