Paid Advertising Against TOS

Just a quick one. I thought I read somewhere that it is against the TOS to do paid campaigns on Facebook and Twitter. Is that true or am I imagining things?

Like you got paid to mention something? Facebook is a lot more strict about it, but I've seen plenty of Twitter people get away with it.
 
Yeah, you didn't really specify what you mean.

Doing ads on Facebook and Twitter that point to YouTube is fine. And any paid promotion you do advertising a product on FB or Twitter would be subject to those sites TOS, not the YouTube TOS.

Paid ads via Adwords that push people to FB or Twitter is totally fine too.
 
Consider that if you promote your youtube channel on FB, or any other content outside FB, It will be opened with the internal browser of FB if by mobile and... that is VERY bad for your promotion :thumbsup2:
