Outlines instead of a full script

For those of you that just write an outline for your videos, do you have a outline that you use for all your videos so you just have some points to start talking about? I am trying to think if I should go with the outline idea or full script. I just think a script would sound more like you are reading something instead of really talking to the viewer.

If anyone has an outline that they go by for most of your videos, I would love to check it out and see what you are doing.

I have also tried the teleprompter thing but it also looks like I am reading instead of talking to the viewer.

Thanks!

Most YouTubers don't use scripts. They recommend bullet pointing/outlining ideas or topics so they sound more natural and have a better flow.

Yeah I tend to just use an outline, although I don't write it out, I just keep track of what I've talked about in my head.

I try to use dot points for my more topic based vids but I'm not that great at expanding on them, even if I rehearse I can sometimes stuff up more than I need or want to, so I end up having dot points that are longer than they should be resulting in what's almost practically a script. I consider it a hybrid xD. I'm contemplating steering away from notes in general but I don't think that would work too well for what I want to convey. I'd avoid a full script though unless it's necessary and you think there's something you will forget to say or important enough that it has to be included.
