Old School Advertising?!

So a while ago I made a post about writing my youtube name on a bunch of bills to see if it would send a few souls over to my channel, and I'm not sure if it worked, haha. The second method I tried, which sent a handful of people to my channel, was post it notes. Yup, I had a packet of post it notes in my backpack so I wrote my youtube channel on it an posted them all over my university's library. The next few days I received comments from people who had found my post it notes in the library. I'm not gonna lie, this put a smile on my face and now I walk around school wondering who were the nice souls who made time to look up my youtube, haha. After seeing some mild success with the post it notes, I decided to upgrade the tiny paper squares and create a full blown flyer for my channel. The flyer is simple, includes a few pics, and my youtube channel. I'm thinking about printing 20 to post around the city. Anyone else wanna join? Hopefully some of you guys jump in and we can share our results here in a few weeks! :D
Here is a screenshot of what it will look like:

I have thought of this as well. I had a guy come into my place of employment and leave a stack of business cards for his YouTube channel. Thought of posting those and flyers around myself when I get going.

I have business cards with my facey and youtube channel on it, And at wrestling shows i leave them out on my gimmick table for people to take to find me easily on the internet. Works well when i'm in front of a new crowd
