Official HD videos?

Hello,I was going through random youtube videos and just randomly looking at different gaming videos.

I noticed some of the top ranked videos had something underneath the video description that says OFFICIAL with HD next to it...what does it mean?It's always the top #1 ranked videos in search results,here is a pic of how it looks like. [ It's underneath the video description in youtube search results ] thanks for any help.

The 2 tags are completely independent of each other. So the video is in HD and it is also "official". It doesn't mean "official HD"

The "official" tag is when there has been history of people ripping the original video and uploading it. The channel owner has therefore followed a procedure which has allowed YouTube to determine which is the original. It makes it easier for YT to deal with future claims. If one has the official tag then all other versions get zapped no questions asked.
