Greetings Earthlings.
I am a small channel, less than 200 subs small. I have been approached by a couple of companies offering to send me products to review. They state they want me to provide a completely unbiased review and that I would be able to keep the products they send. Has anyone here been contacted by companies, and is this normal for a small channel?
 
Like above said, just make sure the company is legit and it should be totally fine,
I've had companies reach out to me to review products and I've reached out as well, and it's always gone well!

Don.. be careful. I get a lot of theses enquiries too. Most are BS/Scams. They are almost ALWAYS amazon retailers.. And this is what they do:

1. They put a link of the products they supposedly want to send you. (open with Tor browser only !).. these links are simply their affilaite links. Basically once you have pressed on it any purchases you make from amazon up to 30 days afterwards mean that the scammers get a small commission.

or
2. You reply to to their offer and shortly afterwards you will get their second email which will say: Thanks you.. please buy /order the product from amazon here **** and we will reimburse you. (LOL Course they will :bounce:) Surely if they are retailer/manufacturer's they can manage posting you one of their item without YOU having to buy it. I pity the fool that falls for their sh**. I got a stage one email as this kind a couple of days back and replied to them with a big FO no thanks straight away.

3. both of above.

if they utter anything what so ever to do with the A word is disingenuous !

Thanks for the info everyone. Now, whenever I see the emails, all I can think of is “it’s a trap” <-Admiral Ackbar voice.
 
Im exactly in your position i have nearly 100 Subs and I'm a review channel however I've always approached companies and its always gone well, feel free to check me out
