Not making videos for a little while= SUPER HORRIBLE ME?

I Love YTtalk
Okay so I've gotten busy because I've recently gotten a job. My schedule is all over the place, so making a schedule for recording is difficult. I had made a thread about working and doing YouTube a last week, and people keep saying "get your priorities straight, pick the one with the money- blah blah blah" but this IS a priority. Performing and auditioning ARE my job, but in order to do that I need to make money (unfortunately everything is run by money and it sucks that my future is dependent on that.) So, I don't really need that speech. To be honest- I live at home, and bills aren't a huge issue right now- if you think that is pathetic, It doesn't matter- I know my life, and I have my reasons for being here. No shame. lol I don't want to sound like a big B-WORD, though. haha

Anyway, is it super horrible that I'm not posting? I'm just afraid that my channel is going to suffer. (I mean, I only have 17 subscribers- but since I have so little, I want to hang on to it, ya know?)
When I come back and figure out what days I can record or when- should I wait and strive to post more than once a week to make up for when I didn't? Or should I just record random vlogs or rants and TRY to upload them when I can? I mean, I'm not sure what I'd talk about, but I guess that's something I can do.

I just need advice on what to do or how to do it. :P

I don't think your channel will suffer while you figure out a schedule and get yourself sorted, doing this at 17 subs is probably a good idea really.

Its really about uploading what and when you want, if your not in the mood to record one week, don't, as a forced video won't be as good. And although a schedule is good, just uploading whenever is more suited to some people and it still works just as well, personal choice really :)

I believe quality is better than quantity. I don't think that just rushing out a rant just for the sake of uploading is going to get you a positive response. In example I was subbed to someone a while a go who I used to love to watch. Well shortly after he got to just producing videos that were just there to be there and for views I guess. His content lost all meaning. Long story short, he lost me as a sub. Just take your time finding your schedule and making quality content.

It's not super horrible at all- I've not been able to post a video for about three weeks because of college work, hoping to film a new one this evening. Sometimes it sadly has to take a backseat to what else is going on in life. Just get back to it when you can and think how much more fun it'll be after you've had a little break from it- I'm itching to get back to YT properly now I've got a bit more time on my hands! :D Good luck with it!! :)

Thanks guys. That made me feel a little better about not posting that much right now. I mean, I'm still a little worried because- if I'm not posting, I'm not making any progress with my channel, but then again I have other things I need to worry about first and I should just take it a day at a time rather than trying to do everything all at once- which is something my brain for some reason always wants me to do. It's never a good idea. haha
