No Commentary Playthrough

Well, I am a live commentator and I've been thinking if I should stop doing that since I'm really having a hard time talking while playing. Though, I still love to do it, but on most occassions, I am planning to do post-record commentary.

What can you say about that? Is it okay to have a mix of let's play with commentary and walkthroughs only?

Hmm. Tough one.
If you do make walkthroughs, but have post-commentary on it I don't see the harm. But no commentary at all, wouldn't that be a bit weird for your subscribers if you have both?

Hmmmm...it's more of a long playthrough for RPG games (hard to talk while playing those games) and it's more on classic games and such. I guess post-commentary it is.

I've tried to make commentary for a Tales-of game before, and it was really difficult doing it alone! So I scrapped it
Cudos to those who manage to make commentary for like 100+ episodes on an RPG game @.@

For long games like RPGS, post com I think would work if done right.

Edit loads (no one really wants to see you level grinding) and maybe voice over a little while game play is fast-forwarded (if you get what I mean?) and then play maybe a minute clip with no coms....

kindda like a voice over for a reality TV show or something is what im getting at?

I guess another way to try it is to do both, play around with ideas, and see what your view count is like to decided if people like it or not?

I actually did.) It's also my first playthrough so it actually sucks. xD It's also my longest.

I'll try that. I really have trouble making live comms because there are a lot of people here in our house. They usually request for something and such. xD

Yeah, I just cut those off.) One reason why i cannot talk louder on my video. xD Oh well, 3 more years before getting an apartment I guess.) I hope YouTube is still around that time.
