I Love YTtalk
So after hearing about them coming up with something, its nice to finally see something outside of Japan. It's only it Beta so it probably will improve with Feedback if you can give it. Will you be taking advantage of it?

Anyone can apply to the Nintendo Creators Program through their Google account and the full instructions are as follows:

Use your Google account to log in.
Read the terms of service, and click on "Agree and Continue" if you accept.
Enter your country and language, and then enter your PayPal ID.
Once you are done with preregistration, we will send a confirmation e-mail to your Google account.
Click on the link provided in the e-mail to finalize your registration.
Next time you log in, all channels and videos associated with your Google account will be shown so you can register those that you want to include in this program.

So its pretty simple to get to be a part of it. Someone already is according to the articles comments (Article on ZeldaInformer).

Registering videos/channels info:
Code:
- You can register single videos or entire channels. When you register a channel, you will be eligible to receive a share of advertising revenue from Nintendo for all videos included in that channel, regardless of their content.
- If you only want some videos to apply to this program, please register each video individually.
- It can regularly take up to three business days for your registered content to be reviewed and finalized.

The must-do's:
Code:
In order to comply with applicable laws and regulations, and as a condition to participating in the Nintendo Creators Program, you must include the following disclosure with any videos you create that contain Nintendo content: I have a license to use Nintendo’s content in this video through the Nintendo Creators Program. This video is not sponsored or endorsed by Nintendo, but any advertising revenue from this video will be shared with Nintendo.
This disclosure may be spoken (e.g., in the YouTube video) or written (e.g., in the YouTube caption or as on-screen text in the video). Regardless of format, you need to make sure the disclosure is prominently presented, easy to understand, and clearly visible and/or audible to anyone who views your video.

Seems pretty cool. I wonder if you can do it with older games. I used to do a let's play of Pokemon Crystal. I'm not sure if that sort of thing would apply.

I don't know.
We swear and say some vulgar things from time to time in our videos. Not sure if they like that. :p[DOUBLEPOST=1422518502,1422518413][/DOUBLEPOST]

"Although the games presented in one's footage must be among those listed as eligible, the available titles extend all the back to the NES and, as such, all first-party produced Zelda titles are eligible; everything from The Legend of Zelda to A Link Between Worlds. Unfortunately for those who were hoping to take part by using footage from Hyrule Warriors, its status as a third-party title prevents its eligibility, Nonetheless, this presents over a dozen possibilities, provided that you are accepted to the program. - See more at: http://www.zeldainformer.com/news/n...hip-program-zelda-games-eligible#.VMnottKG-Hg"

What about if you don't monetise your vids? And does this mean that Nintendo are technically running a network now since you can make your whole channel a part of it? Sounds interesting, it's definitely a step in the right direction for Nintendo, good to see they're slowly tossing out old/outdated values. But I'm still going to avoid Nintendo titles like the plague if I can't do them without monetising and without content ID.

I usually only get third party matches from new games.
And some times I don't get them at all. I think it depends on the soundtrack.

And you can do them without monetising :O
I have never monetised any video.

No I mean with this program Nintendo is running, can you sign up for it to be able to avoid content ID claims on a per video basis but without monetising the videos? That's what I want to know. And the whole Content ID thing is hit and miss, some people get slammed some don't, if it doesn't affect 1 person it might affect another. For me the soundtrack would have to be a must since it's an OST. Games like GTA I don't mind not having the music since anything after San Andreas was s**t anyways lol But games like Mario and Halo I'd want the soundtrack to be heard but at least people playing it. Only reason I'm holding off on a Wii U is because of Nintendo's attitude towards YouTube Creators, I have a Wii and want to do some coop LPs or shorts with some of Nintendo's games for a bit of Nostalgia too.

I'm not sure about that.
But is there a pacific or a specific reason you don't want to monetise?

And I don't think 3rd party matches does anything other than removing monetisation for that single video :O

I don't want to monetise because it's a waste at my current size and I've always felt it just looks bad, I don't have a supportive enough viewer base to do it. My attitude with content ID is if I can't make money off my vids, no one else can so I avoid content ID claims as much as I can, it also falls in with reason #1, whether it's an ad I put on or not, it looks bad.

I'm confused, is it basically a mini-partnership, wherein you specifically get nintendo-verified adverts on the videos you specify?
What if you're with a network?

I register to check that out of what will happen if you're with a network
