Hey guys so I started posting some Bowser Amiibo training videos and for some reason instead of putting a copyright strike on my videos Nintendo monetized them and just decided to put adds on them yet I am not part of the Nintendo creators program has this happened to anyone else ?

They always do that.
It's nothing new.
Oh okay nice I was just kind of worried considering the whole " Nintendo copyright" thing that has been happening lately because last week I uploaded some Pikmin 3 but they just straight up striked the videos so I had to take em down and I was going to apply for the creators program but I wanted to wait until I had more subs/views..

Did they actually give you a copyright strike? :O
That has never happened to me.

But yeah, they have claimed videos for over 2 years now and they puts ads on them, and all the revenue goes to Nintendo.

Are you serious lol they have been doing it to everyone as of late you have to apply for the creators program if you play any games on a list that was put up on the program website just look up "Nintendo Creators Program" thankfully smash is not on the list so I am good but in previous channels I only played horror so I didn't get any copyright anything...

I think that is only if you want to earn money from them. You shouldn't be getting a strike just from uploading games on the list. I'm pretty sure Nintendo will just place ads on them instead. (As they have done on many of my videos, and I have yet to get a strike)
And if you join their program, you aren't allowed to upload anything but Nintendo games.

That's lame but yeah last week on my old channel I got a strike for all of my Pikmin 3 vids which is why I had to switch lets play shows...

Just for clarity, are you certain these are strikes? I've not yet heard of Nintendo issuing strikes. They have material registered within ContentID so you'll get third party content matches, but those aren't strikes. You'll know for sure if you got a strike because you have to take a copyright test and watch a stupid happy tree friends video.

False there ... You just verify the videos that are nintendo related no need to just upload nintendo games. I am testing things out with just one of my videos to see how the revenue goes when i get my first payment before I verify all my other nintendo videos even tough they are not claim by them, so I am getting normal revenue from my partnership.

But yeah if you're with a network just monetize and that revenue will go to your normal partnership stuff and the nintendo to the nintendo program.

But I heard that someone said that was how it worked :O
