'nicknames' for your viewers?

What's your take on this? Like how (for e.g.) Tobuscus calls people 'the audience', PewdiePie calls them 'bros', Vlogbrothers have 'nerdfighters'.

Viewer nicknames - yay or nay?

I'm a 'nay', myself. It's just like calling any viewers or subs 'fans'. Although the fans bit doesn't bother me, doing it myself to my viewers and subs would feel like I was self important and above the people who watched my stuff.
 
ahh i think its fine. I remember Craig Ferguson use to call his audience names every time he went on air. fuzzy little monys and other things haha. Gaga use to call her fans little monsters. I think it's cool if its in a joking style but its not something i would do. Kind of like how some v-loggers blow there audience kisses at the end.
 
I kind of like the idea if you have a good name and you go about it the right way. I think Toby does it perfectly. I'm not sure I will ever do it unless I get a really loyal fan base and can think of something clever to call them.
