I have the Samsung HMX QF20, haven't made an official video yet, but it looks really good from test footage. I got it for about $200

You could always animate like me! Then you really won't need a video camera. If not, the ones above are pretty good.

GH1/GH2 or GH3 depending on your price range. They are Micro DSLR so you can get tight shots and you can also hack them to get amazing bitrates. You can google it Panasonic GH1/2/3
