Hey there everyone. So I really want to do this full time at some point but it obviously needs to make some money. I have been looking at so much info i feel like im on info overload and now im trying to sift through it all to get a game plan. Not sure when i should start adsence. Not sure what steps I should take to start to grow My audience. I've only been at it a month but am very business Atype personality. I want to get it to 100k subs in next couple years. Obvi that cant happen now.

So ideas on the first couple steps that I should take to start monetizing and should I look at a network. if so which one?

I have been a teacher, business owner and adrenalin junkie. Trying to blend the 2 . Using extreme illustrations to prove a point. My landing video is me jumping into a ball of fire. Kinda Johnny Knoxvilleish.

Monetize right away with adsense, you don't want a video to go viral and not make anything. As for networks, do some research to see if it's worth it. I'm leaving Fullscreen because of the stupid music issue I keep having with 3rd party claims lately that they can't seem to resolve. One of the main reasons I joined them is for the audio libraries, so I see no reason to stay anymore if they can't resolve all these stupid random 3rd party claims. I tried to renegotiate my contract terms yesterday but they said they can't meet what I asked for so I guess it's final, I'll most likely be going back to adsense.

Did you see channel growth because you are a part of a network?

nope, nothing Fullscreen did to promote the channel or anything like that! I did start making better videos because I could add some nice music tracks to them though so that could have helped me grow just by adding some quality. I'm looking into viral spiral and other options right now, but I may just go without a network so I have total freedom with my videos. When you belong to a network there are some licensing options that you can't do. For example, Rumble.com video management would not be allowed right now, but if I have no network then that will be an option I can try out.

Most networks merely equip you with the tools to grow. They don't do the work for you. Generally, it isn't worth it. Use AdSense.
At this point, no matter how well you do things, you won't make more than a dollar at most. Instead focus on growing your channel and putting out the best content you can. It's slow at first but it speeds up. Eventually you'll be able to think money.

I'd say put all your efforts into growing the channel first. Monetizing may not be worth it with a low sub count.

Your channel is pretty good! You have great potential!
I think you will hit 100k subs less than a year!
@Daniel Gjokaj really? I feel like im pulling teeth to get 100. I hope you are right! That would be awesome! Thanks[DOUBLEPOST=1442193114,1442193086][/DOUBLEPOST]

Cool appreciate that.

On my channel, I want to grow first, then introduce ads later. But my videos are really short, so having ads may not make sense for me at this point. But I think having ads can affect you negatively, as people generally don't want to watch ads, especially for an "unpopular" video with a low view count. I think establishing your channel first is better.
