New YouTube Show (Need Help)

I have been thinking for a while what ells I could do on YouTube that isn't gaming or racing, then I got a green screen for my face cam gaming videos and thought now I have that I could make a YouTube show on something. I got a bit of the idea from a music review I watch on This Is 50. Here is a example of one: watch?v=hO-07MqhFp8



So I have all the equipment to be able to do this but I just don't know what to do my show on, I was thinking of doing my own music review with English music as well but I didn't want to go with that idea just because iv see someone ells on YouTube doing it.



I am a urban type of guy, I like rap and hip hop. So do any of you out there have any ideas on what I could do a YouTube show on. Post your ideas bellow.

Do a show on what you like, there is no point doing anything else.

People are going to watch you for you, and so long as your not doing something that absolutely everyone else is doing then i'm sure that your going to be fine.

I dont know how many youtubers there are but I do think that being completely unique isn't important, like if you only have a hundred subs your circles are small and you and lots of people your size can do the same thing and it doesn't matter. If you have like a million subs and get loads of views then people are going to be copying you all the time. The way I see it, you shouldn't worry to much about it, share your passion - that's what's important, and I think that's what a lot of the best people do.


If you find out your exactly the same as someone else though I might change it up a little.

I don't think I have explained this very well, good luck anyways.

You have explained it very well, I totally agree with what you said. I think I have got to warped up in what is cool and what people may like I have lost the fact that its my channel and yes if I copy or do what is so called cool then I will get no were. Thanks for the reply and I think ill be myself and do my show on something I know best while being myself.

Glad to hear it dude, I think in the end it will make you happier too because you'll never get stuck being someone else just to keep all those subs. Very best of luck to you though.
 
Another thing to add is, don' worry if someone else is doing a similar show. You have different talents and personality, and your execution will be different. Just do, what you want to do and have fun with it, so viewers can connect with, and enjoy your show. :)
