New Youtube Design for Channels

Hello all. I am not quite sure if this thread already exists, but I'm gonna make one on this general topic. So, I have noticed a lot of people are using the new available Youtube design, which is probably gonna end up being mandatory. So what do you all think of the new design? I in general don't like it because it takes away the creativity of showing off cool channel designs/banners. But, this is not all on what I think about it, it mostly is, but about what you guys think. So, share your thoughts on the matter.

Good to know and a quick question, how do you add tags below the My Channel box? This is totally unrelated, but I have no idea on how to do such things.
