Hi people, In need of some advice please…

I want to get serious about YouTube, and in the last few weeks I have been making a few videos etc…I decided to make a couple of DVD compilations from True Romance (Warner Bro) I uploaded this twice, and encountered 2 x ‘Content ID’ matches, and the videos were automatically blocked globally and instantly removed. My account has gone into bad standing (For 1 month)

What I need to know is, are these classed as an official copyright strike? As in 1 more and goodbye account! – Or are these something different? Is my account safe!?

As I read up regarding ‘strikes’ and it seems to imply these ‘Content ID’ matches are something different to an actual copyright strike? With these Content ID you get 30 days for each offense …which I have had!
Or am I reading it wrong, and it’s a warning etc * if the company wants to share revenue, allow the video with their Ads etc…but if they simply say ‘no’ and block the video (As Warner Bro have done) it’s actually an official ‘copyright strike’

So….what am I looking at here! are these copyright strikes? As I thought for it to be an official strike – you need a takedown notice (Or was this one?!?!) – I’m just SO confused! if these ARE copyright strikes, would it just be best starting a new account? as I don’t want to be living in fear of the 3rd strike when just starting out…

Lastly is it just Russian Roulette with uploading DVD clips then? One can be fine, and another could result in a strike?

Thanks!

I can't help you much but here is what I've got:
Your channel link doesn't work. Do you have a custom url. youtube.com/something or instead of a bunch of random letters. If don't have a custom url you don't really lose much from just starting a new channel and then just be careful and don't upload content that doesn't belong to you.
