New (used) Blue Yeti Issue

What's up guys,

So I bought a used Blue Yeti mic, and I'm having a slight recording issue. When I record it makes it sound like the audio is compressed, like my voice is high pitched. I can't for the life of me figure it out, and I've already tryed switching out the USB. Any Blue Yeti gurus out there to help?

Thanks,

Likely its a mismatched audio sample rate in whatever software you are importing the audio into, where are you trying to listen back to it? If its a program like reaper or cubase, check and make sure the sample rate of the clip matches the session rate.

The Yeti Records at 16bit/48khz, and if you try to play that back in a 44.1khz session, you will be playing more samples per second back (48 vs 44.1) per snapshot witch will make you sound higher pitched.

Let me know if that helps!
