I Love YTtalk
I've been a bit stagnant lately on making videos, but I just thought of something that will push my editing skills and limits. I know people who are really good at editing can probably do this in a matter of seconds, but this will expand my ability and give me a chance to play/experiment with my software and planning skills. I want to do a timelapse/regular speed/slow motion video all combined in one scene.
The hard parts will be:
1) Finding a scene where all of this stuff will make sense together. I want to do a timelapse of clouds, and maybe slow motion of somebody running, and normal speed of cars or people walking or something.
2) Changing settings on my camera without having it move so the scene will be stationary.
3) Dealing with changing lighting settings if I do layered video. The shadows might not make sense if the sun moves, clouds are flying over, etc.
4) Dealing with changing scenario. What I originally wanted to do is do a timelapse out of my window so I can get the clouds and my street leading up to my house. Cars might pull in/out, people might run onto or off of the screen, etc.
5) Layering these scenes together to make one seamless video will be tough because I've never done anything like this.
So yeah, that might be something I work on this weekend. I might do something easier like in my house or something so there aren't so many changing variables. Any ideas of something like this that you would find interesting, send my way. I've been in a creative slump lately and want to try some trippy stuff.
