Good morning fellow folks of YTtalk!
I've been slowly configuring my Youtube partnership account as it grows and one of the features I recently added in was their newer live streaming module, which I might add, is pretty darn amazing.
So anyway, this new live show is pretty experimental as of right now, it's called HAXoDROME, and I need some review on the live show's content and feel...
Here is the link:
I was aiming for a retro feel for the show, so I decided to use vacuum tube cameras from the 70's and 80's to achieve that feel, the whole show is shot as analog as possible, even have mixtapes no the show, so the general feeling of the show is supposed to be this retro hacker pirate station feel-thing. I wanted to see what you guys felt of the style and I could do to improve upon its quirkiness, since this is just the first episode, it was just an experiment, I do know of a few things that do need improvement and they will be addressed, such as...
If there's anything else you folks see, please address it, such as the shtick or style of it, what kind of content I could possibly add on to it, what you liked, what you didn't like, just ANYTHING to help make it better. I have another stream tonight so I'll take all advice today and do my best to apply it for tonight's!
Thank you all for your amazing help and contributions to this site, you all ROCK!
P.S. Bonus "Brownie Points" if someone can tell me how to I can fix the streaming youtube error in which only SOME videos eventually get posted to the video feed, apparently THIS ONE didn't!
so I can't use it on my favorites lists, post it on my page, or get any type of monetization out of it; super bummer! if I can't get it to do that, recommend any downloaders that I could use to download this? many of hte online ones don't like the URL and therefore won't download. Quite the predicament...

- Better lighting - the tube cameras are normally EXTREMELY dark in indoor settings, even with 300 watt lighting (Which was on the first episode - the link), so I'll be putting in a fill light elsewhere and a light behind the camera as well so if I present anything to it, I dont present into the blackness of space
- More camera angles - I just bought a multiport AV switch for 4 components to be plugged in. I'd like to utilize more vacuum cameras, one as a far shot (the current camera) one on the table to see what I'm soldering, plugging in or fooling around with and a third on one of the TVs for a variety of things, such as seeing software and maybe even doing guest introductions who stream in
