Hey guys,

So Freedom is shutting down their networks. I was wondering who else are doing it? And what will happen to the network once got shut? Do you guys have any idea about which network got shut? I am also wondering how those network (VN) owners are handling this transition?

Hey, would you mind letting me know where you heard about this?

This one is the sub-network of freedom! as far as I know and they shut it down.
I am not sure where-there they shut down the whole network or just a site. But still this something big and, makes me more curious.

Also here is Freedom's thinking about Subnetworks

Again remove spaces between https:// and dot to see link and explanation of all stuff

A subnetwork exists when a MCN provides direct or indirect access of its rollup tool to unaffiliated third parties, who act on behalf of a separate brand or company, in exchange for compensation or some consideration.

Subnetworks are not permitted, and accounts that violate this policy will be subject to penalties. YouTube reserves the right to modify this policy at any point in time.

YouTube believes that there are two primary issues with subnetworks:

  1. They grant unaccountable third parties access to sensitive tools.
  2. They cause creator confusion in the marketplace when creators believe that they are signing up with one brand but are actually rolled up under another company.

I was with Maker and they made it so hard for me to get money, or anything decent - even with 8k subs on my old channel I still felt like a nobody within the Network, they didn't really give me as much attention as larger ones.
So with my new channel, I've decided not to go with a Network.
I just think Networks can be really messy for smaller channels.. but this is just my experience,

Well People will just have to join another MCN
Could you please stop spamming? Over 100 messages in the past day, in various topics have been posted by you and most of them provide zero value.

If Networks are going to shut, the ones who stay up might work harder to keep their partners happier is my point, sorry should have stated
