Network Rates what's the appeal?

Ok so I have a few channels...the one with 10k subs gets a lot of spam from networks.

Most of them say they can give me 5-10$ per 1000 monetized views....which when I look at my adsense is pretty much around what I get anyhow....so am I missing something?

I really don't see the reason I'd ever want to be in a network unless it was gaming related.

I get crazy amount of spam with networks as of my crazy channel growth over the last few months.

Im with freedom since 60subs and i actually like it here. I've Been sent a Gaming Headset, got my share upped to 80% and get a cpm of $5.1

I honestly don't see the difference between different networks as long as they don't restrict your channel

They don't have a clue what CPM you get nor what you will be getting. You're right, it's just spam.

Anytime a network states a CPM to you take it with a massive pinch of salt just to give a comparison i cant give the exact value but my Playback-Based CPM from Feb 1st to 28th was over $20 just for the record i am direct with AdSense.
