Negotiating with network

Hey guys I need some help here.

I've been with Fullscreen for almost 2.5 years now and the contract has renewed every year with no changes.

How should I negotiate a better cut with them? Right now it's frankly pretty s**t.

Also I know this isn't the right forum to post this but for some reason this airport wifi has blocked the partnership forum. Can someone (@Kath @JeriKane) please help me move this?

The ability to walk away is the best negotiating tool...unless you're planning on staying with them for some reason, I don't see why you need any special tactics to renegotiate.

If you see usefulness in staying with network, then just ask for bigger share, do not make/think it to be a complex process. Writing something like "i've been slave here for 2.5 years without any rise. I want (yes, not ask, you want it) 95/5" if they say no, you leave them. And you get 100% from what you really earn.

Simply ask, or tell them that another network is offering a certain percentage and that if they can match it that you'll stay with them, that's of course if you wish to stay, you use their features and you get something out of them and you're okay with being locked in.

First off, why are you with them to justify them getting any cut?
I was naive and never thought about leaving the network. Lately I've been thinking differently.
I mean I do use their audio library quite a bit, but the threshold is b******t and betting on my nerves.

Thanks guys for your input, contract ends in December I'll think about it till then.
