Hi, fastest & safest way to get footage is probably recording something with cellphone, I usually do this for something short, save it to google drive on your phone & then download from your laptop/pc........................also modifying ASDF keyboard buttons as shortcuts for most used tools in the premiere will speed up your editing substantially
