Need Some Advice

I have been trying to make a new banner and channel picture for a while. I don't have good skills picture editing or good picture editing software. Is there any good advice someone could give me. Any is appriciated




P.S: For my channel trailer it was a joke. :)

Ive never heard of this, I might try it. I tried using Gimp but even doing the simplest things in that program confused the crap out of me.

Paint.NET is sorta like Gimp, but more like photoshop.

You can use all kinds of geometric shapes to make it interesting. My image editing skills only go that far though XD

I would probably check out a few tutorials on YouTube for either Paint.NET or GIMP and then some on making channel art/logo/banner. If you want to be good (or even have a decent understanding behind doing these things) it's going to take some time and effort in order for you to do it yourself. It is a new skill you have to learn yourself ;)
 
What I did was I bought a Bamboo Drawing tablet at staples, and along with getting the tablet I also got a copie of Adobe Photoshop Elements, Which is EXTREMELY good for making thumbnails, because it's much simpler than the full photoshop, so It's easier to use :)
