I don't really wanna pay for an intro thats probably like 5 seconds long.
It all depends on the quality of the intro your looking for, if your going for a full out 3D realm of awesomeness that can really boost the price up, if your going for a simple 2D animation, it can be a bit cheaper depending on who you get it from but in most cases unless you want something sort of like its from windows movie maker just showing text over a blue background, your either gonna have to learn how to do it yourself, have a good friend in an area like this, or end up having to pay someone who knows what they are doing.
Also, a intro usually is 10 to 15 seconds long, not 5. That 10 to 15 seconds can take hours to days of work to create depending on the job. A great example of how long things like that can take is for a 5 second CoD clip that I edited to make amazing had, 3D adjustments, rings around the scope and all the what not that makes it look epic, took around three full days of work to do. Normally if someone wanted me to do that or anybody who has the skill would do that would normally charge quite a bit because of the hours of labor they put into it.
A good cheap alternative would be to find someone who knows After Effects and has it to make something for you which would only take them about an hour. If they are like that then odds are they are free but people like that are hard to come by.
Now the listed stuff above does not always apply since there ARE nice people in this world who do help, they are just VERY hard to find in most cases, especially if you don't know them.
