First, just play around with the tools on (e.x Sony Vegas Pro or Adobe After Effects etc. ) and later just figure out what everything is.
Second, Just try to edit some small clips and try to make things how you want it to be.
Third, watch tutorials and look how other people are doing something.
Fourth, getting experience by yourself comes more in handy then asking someone.
