Need help with thing that says the name.

I am so lost on what to call this but you know when you make a video and the name of the person comes across the screen at the bottom like on the news and it has a logo on it next to the name. I want to do that.

How do I do it? Which program do I need? Can I buy it from someone and use it on Moviemaker which is what I use now?

I am doing news type interviews and want my logo to appear at the bottom next to the person's name. Please help.

I think what you're talking about is called an overlay, I may be wrong. Anyways, no, you cannot edit it in with Movie Maker. You're going to need a different editing program to do that, which I recommend you do, because Movie Maker is s**t.

You can make it in Photoshop and then fade-in onto the video itself. Little bit of work but that's how I would do it.

What you are looking to do is create a "lower third" overlay (commonly just referred to as a lower third) which is impossible in Windows (Live) Movie Maker the way you want to do it. I think the best it can do is a title overlay of some kind.

I think using another editing software should allow you to put an overlay. I use Adobe Premiere Pro and it has that feature. It's also possible to make a custom overlay in Photoshop (with a transparent background) and just put it in your video if you want it to look even better. Hope it helped!
