hey guys i was wondering if some one could help me in my game recordings you can hear me pushing keys but it sounds more like i am smashing the keyboard what is the best way for me to clean up my sound so you cant here it i have a blue yeti mic.

Get a shock mount, move it away from your keayboard, enhance it with Audacity or simply enough. Don't mash you keys that hard.

Yep, or get the mic standing over your screen.. or get a new keaboard.. gaming keaboards are normally nice and soft :) only hear the keaboard if i put my mic mounted on the keaboard ( mine can be mount anywhere but sound is EPIC :D)

Your mic might be omni-directional, meaning that it picks up sound from all directions. Sadly, most mics that come with standard headsets are like this, unless you shell out a bit more cash...

Thats actually not a very accurate statement. Most of the gaming keyboards are mechanical and very loud.

But less loud then the cheap standard keabords.. as they got rubber pattings under the keys ( mine has) . meaning your hear it.. but not a real clicking ssound, just press sound.

im looking in to a shock mount that will fit a blue yeti i think there is only one that i can get and ill need the boom that going to be about £100 for both so im going to have to make do for now and get a new keyboard thanks for your help guys
