Hello,
I want to start recording youtube videos for ps4 but I am having problems finding out how it would be setup and I don't want to go buying things and then finding they don't work.
I want to be able to record both my voice and my friends voices as well as gameplay sound.
I know about hdcp and all that, and I know how to get my friends voices through tv speakers while still using a mic for the ps4. But what I really don't know is what capture card to use and how to set the mic that I use for my voice to be the same volume level as my friends voices.
I currently have the avermedia game capture hd 2. It's the one that requires no pc to record. However, when I try to look up setups for it the results are all just avermedia game capture hd 1 which is different.
I plugged a mic into the card and tried recording, it records fine but I can't seem to get the sound very loud on it and if I try turning the mic and game volume up you will start to hear static sounds.

So really, my question is either:
If you own an avermedia game capture hd 2 and you use it on the ps4, what mic do you use to plug into it? And what do you put the mic and headset volumes as to make them balanced with friends voices too?
Or
What capture card would you suggest that is easy to set up, easy to make the volume of your voice and friends voices balanced, and doesn't cost much?
P.S. I do not want to get anything expensive like an elgato and I am not too worried about what it's editing software is like. I just want a simple capture card that can record in good quality, and is easy to make the audio balanced. I will edit the actual video on my computer as I am going to buy software to do that.

Anyways, that is pretty much it. Sorry I had to ramble on alot but I just had to make sure my issue was well understood.
